Group Video-Conferencing Sessions
I now check my iVisit room everyday of the week around 11am PST. You can also leave messages for me on iVisit, if you download the invite link at the bottom of this page.
If anyone wants to drop in, I will be happy to answer any questions, time permitting!
I won’t be doing a group session this coming weekend as I have just received news of a live playing gig.
If anyone would prefer me to host the session on a Sunday instead of the usual Saturday time, please leave a comment requesting a Sunday session, and I will post the times here for a future Sunday session.

1. Launch iVisit.
2. Click ‘Logon’
3.Click on the small green looking Globe of the world icon
4.Click on ‘Arts’ then click on ‘Music’ and you will see my virtual home ‘James_Devon’
5. Click on ‘Join Room’ and I’ll be there to greet you!
Get Ivisit
You will need to go to ivisit.com, to download the free mac and pc software. You don’t even NEED A WEBCAM to participate, as you can see me, and hear me perform music, and of course I’m there to answer any questions you may have about lessons, musical equipment, home recording etc. either by talking into your mic or typing messages to me.
Get the Ivisit invite file
Right click or control click here and choose “Save link as” to download the Ivisit connection invite. The filename “call_James_Devon.ivb” will dowload, when complete double click the file to open James Ivisit page.

Hi Stranger, sorry for the delay in replying to your question. I’ve set up the camera and checked the audio and everything is running well.
I am hoping to be able to do my first session on the weekend of March 8th and possibly on Sunday the 9th.
You will be able to type questions to me and I can answer by microphone. It’s easier for me to talk than to type answers that might take time.
Don’t worry about your command of English. George Bush just about manages to get by with his!
I will need to know how many hours time difference there is from the West Coast of
Canada/US to Moscow. Let me know what the time difference is between London and Moscow and I’ll just add the two zones up.

I missed the video conference. How did it go? Also, I’m curious why you choose iVisit (vs skype or ichat or others…). Do you recommend a jamming site (eJamming, etc…)? Finally do you recommend a piano lesson similar to your teaching methods?
